XX The Morning After XX w/ M-Fixie

Yo, I know you all are here to read my grandfather’s column, The Codger, this morning. This is his grandson,
M-Fixie, AKA Max. He told me that he blogged about taking me to Ikea to get a desk and couch, so I’m guessing you all know who I am. Just so you know, my Grandpa decided to extend his time at the casino (gettin’ lucky, Grandpa!?!) so he called me last night to see if I would write his column for him today. To be totally honest, I was a little buzzed, so I said I would do it. So here we are. You should all be grateful that I’m taking the time to do this, b/c I’m usually busy writing my own blog (don’t worry, not gonna plug it), blowing glass (I make all kinds of glass art, tobacco paraphernalia, jewelry, and etc.), and just chillin. My first order of business is going to be to add some stuff to the blogroll to give my grandpa some better stuff to check out in his free time.

Now that I’m in charge, for today anyway, you wanna know what I’m sooooo sick of? I’m soooo over my freakin neighbor, who thinks it’s OK to call the cops at 11:01 just because she says she “has to wake up for work tomorrow.” Well you know what? I have the right to STAY UP AND CHILL! Just b/c YOU have a stupid-as5 9 to 5 job, you shouldn’t take it out on everyone else around you! UR like the only old person that lives around here, so UR gonna have to DEAL. And I need to blow off some steam after blowing glass all week, and the only time I had all week to do it was last night. And I think my bro’s cousin’s friend, Destiny, was really starting to feel my mad DJ skills, but guess what, she’s going back to freakin TORONTO today, and I’m not gonna get another chance to get with her til probably like 5 months from now! Destiny, if ur reading this, call/txt me, we can still make some stuff happen, if you know what I mean ;0

Now that we got that out of the way, my grandpa thought that I would be a good person to talk a little about gentrification today. The only thing I really have to say about it is that if it means more people will be riding fixies, then I’m all for it. Fixies 4 life. If you want to know the truth, I think every street needs to be 100% bike lane. My bro even uses his fixie to haul around recyclables, so that shows that people will adapt. Peace.
